312 public schools damaged by Uwan; Bicol, Calabarzon heavily hit: DepEd

MANILA — The Department of Education reported that at least 312 public schools sustained damage following the onslaught of Uwan, with schools in Bicol Region and Calabarzon sustaining the most damage.

Based on DepEd’s situation report for Nov. 12, 12 p.m.m 1,182 classrooms suffered minor damage, 366 classrooms were majorly damaged, and 261 were totally damaged. These figures are still being verified as additional reports continue to arrive, DepEd added……readmore
